Ebook {Epub PDF} Batgirl Vol. 5: Deadline by Gail Simone

 · Deadline is the fifth and final run in Gail Simone's run on Batgirl, containing several one shots and the final showdown with Knightfall. While some of the one shots didn't do it for me, the results were overall solid, which pretty much sums up my impression on Simone's run as a whole/5. BATGIRL VOL. 5: DEADLINE. It’s a hazardous reunion between Batgirl and the former Court of Owls assassin Strix as they face off against the lethal new threat known as Silver – the man who knows the secret of Gotham City’s conspiracy of bats! Collects BATGIRL # and ANNUAL #2. Supergirl. It starts off with a lot of promise. Her main struggles are with herself (the PTSD) and her lack of abilities (she gets beat up a lot) which made it frustrating for me because I want a strong Batgirl. She comes across as a year old IMO, but it's actually pretty hard to get a feel for who Barbara is.
